Re: Audio and subtitles out of sync

Hi,

The latest versions of FFMPEG have the transcoding option "-mpegts_m2ts_mode 1" (git commit under "Add support for BDAV/m2ts-mode muxing") which includes the timestamps on the header.
Unfortunately the subtitles are still out-of-sync but the timestamp of the video now appears on the TV (Samsung B Series).

i wonder if the timestamps are being set properly (FFMPEG bug ?).. need to run a couple more tests.

cheers.

I've added this now, let's see if it helps. Will need a tester with B series Samsung.

I can test it if you want (linux here)

The transcoded version shows a difference of > 2mins on the same frame relative to the original video (mkv) and i can see the seconds jumping irregularly.. (checked with Media Player Classic). No way the subtitles will ever be in sync...

cheers.

Yep. That's what I saw on my B series, but now I sold it so cannot retest. it's ok on C series, but I'm not sure if it ever was a problem there.

What time difference. When I click Info button when playing the file it seems to count seconds ok. The file also plays ok in VLC. I was doing remuxing into mpegts.
