Parental control?

I love Serviio! I've been looking for a way to play movies on my TV from my computer since early last month. Finally I found something. It's easy to use and plays all of the extensions. Thank you for a great application/server.

I think it would be great if I had a way to keep my son from accidentally playing R rated stuff though. Maybe ask for a PIN or something before something a certain rated film would play.

Re: Parental control?

That should be a client side feature rather than serviio, as serviio just offers the files to be played and the client then determins how that file is played.

Re: Parental control?

Something like that has been requested already: https://bitbucket.org/xnejp03/serviio/i ... r-profiles
I gather you'd select a profile in the console and you'd get a subset of the files.
