Display a specific folder

Hi,

I really like how Serviio works for my devices and the way it presents the media is really great, however there is one thing I either can't find or is missing.

We have a video folder in our collection called "incoming" where a good chunk of our downloads end up in. The files in here tend to get watched once and then deleted later in the week, so there really isn't a reason to index them into collections like "tv shows" and what not. Right now we get by by using the "recently added" category but since that only shows us the last 10 items it doesn't always do the trick.

Is there the option of displaying a specific directory (and possibly sub-dirs) as a custom category? If I cannot do a custom category, can I maybe map one of the existing ones to a directory?

Cheers,

Re: Display a specific folder

you can get ther through the Folders Category and especially if you share this folder on it's own (with metadata turned off as you requested) it'll be just 1 click away.

Well I'll be dammed.... I'll chalk this up to my lack of sleep (newborn in the house).

Anyway, you're in the UK so what's it cost to go out and get a good 6 pack or a decent bottle of wine? I'll paypal you a thanks for the great software!
