Mpeg-4 part14

This codec has been out for a while but serviio does not support it as a Video targetContainer (Video targetContainer=mpeg-4). Is there a reason why ?

Does FFmpeg support it? Post ffmpeg -i of the file.

Ah, I misread your question. You cannot transcode to mpeg4 container on-the-fly. Reasons have been discussed many times here.
