[SOLVED] Sony Bravia Transcoding Problem

I have sony bravia CX520. I successfully connected the TV to my home network using Serviio but my TV only shows the supported files (like mp4). I want to play files with the format .flv, .mkv, .3gp and etc. what shall I do?
I worked on sony profile a little but nothing happened. Even I upgraded the TV software but still NOTHING.

Turn on transcoding ?

Transcoding is checked. This is why I'm confused. Does something special need to be done for Bravia TV? Any profile connection, TV settings, ... ?

It depends on the video and target codec, normally at least the same size as the input, but it depends.

What profile do you have selected in the console?

What did you mean by worked on the sony profile, as in edit it? I thought it was complete by now without needed any modifications.

I use the profile "Sony Bravia (2011)" which is in-built. I mean I didn't add the profile from an external source but I used the profile written by Serviio (in the config filder).
Yes I mean "edit" by "work". I changed the profiles.xml a little according to what I read in this forum but it didn't work.

I tested the profiles introduced in section "Board index ‹ Serviio Support & Help ‹ Sony"
By the way, I copied several files with different formats (.flv, .3gp, .mkv, .mp4) in one forlder, my TV only shows the mp4 one.

Could you :
- enable detailed logging (see signature)
- stop serviio service
- clear the log file
- start serviio service
- try to play a file with problem
- post log here

Try changing the profile to Sony Bravia TV (2010) and see if that one works. I had the same thing, half the files in my library didn't show up under the 2011 profile but once I changed it they all appeared and stream perfectly

The problem has been solved. After checking the transcoding box, I've should exit the serviio and start it again, just it.

Now I can play .mkv, .avi, .flv and almost everything. Thank you Serviio!
