LG OLED TV profiles

I had earlier posted some profiles for the C3/C4, this is a more comprehensive profile for all LG OLED's from 2016+

LG OLED User Profiles (2016–2025) for Serviio 2.4

I've created a set of LG OLED user profiles covering all OLED generations from 2016 through 2025.

Rather than creating a separate profile for every TV model, the profiles are grouped by hardware generation:

• LG OLED (2016–2019)
• LG OLED (2020–2022)
• LG OLED (2023–2024)
• LG OLED (2025+)

The profiles extend Serviio's built-in LG profile and only override behavior where playback capabilities differ between OLED generations. The goal was to maximize direct playback while minimizing unnecessary transcoding.

Highlights

• Supports all LG OLED generations from 2016 through 2025.
• One profile per hardware generation instead of one profile per TV model.
• Built on top of the default Serviio LG profile.
• Preserves multiple audio track support.
• Direct plays supported formats whenever possible.
• Transcodes only codecs that are unsupported or known to have DLNA playback limitations.
• Includes AV1 handling for pre-2023 OLED generations (Serviio 2.4).
• Includes DTS transcoding for 2025+ OLED models.
• Validated against the Serviio 2.4 Profiles.xsd schema.

Notes

• The profiles are intended for manual assignment because LG OLED generations present very similar UPnP renderer information and cannot be reliably distinguished automatically by Serviio.
• Playback decisions are based on observed DLNA renderer behavior rather than USB codec support.
• The profiles have been validated against the Serviio 2.4 Profiles.xsd schema.

Feedback and playback results are always welcome. If additional LG OLED generations or codec behaviors are confirmed, I'll continue refining the profiles.

I don't know who the admin is but they're free to add these to the stock build.
