how force mkv trascoding - Samsung C Profile

Hi, how can i force the trascoding of MKV file. Actually when i try to play in my samsung get an error like "Video Codec not admited"The strange is that other mkv files play ok...¿?
I use de gspot to view de filetype and codecs and i found video/x.matroska ¿?
¿How can i force de trascoding of this file type?

What yas have ta do is give us da ffmpeg -i result of da file and we mite tells yas why it ant workin.

or in english

Can you post a ffmpeg -I result for the fiel that will not play, you can see my signiture for a howto if you are unsure how to do it.

Are you using the newest Version of Seviio? I encountered the same problem somewhen before 0.51 and solved it by simply renaming the file to .avi... Now (with 0.51) it works without renaming.

But some mkv´s still need special attention and there is already a thread about it:

Serviio cares nothing about extensions, they are only useful for identifying files to scan.

hm... Okay, sorry. Maybe it was the Samsung media player that did not want my mkv´s named as such. I am not quite sure which program it was....

Yes i´m using the newest Version. I renamed the file to .avi, but the same, "Coded de video no admitido" :(

This is the output of the file does not play
NOTE: This is the post for my problem? (viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2052) If so, that program had patanpatan detailed file information?

Hello friends, thank you!
I solved the problem with the post http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2052implementing Illico response, option 2, changing profile.
Using the tsMuxer I noticed that the movie was High@5.1 :D
Only thing now is that there are two services of ffmpeg that I consume all the CPU so the video on your screen freezes at times.
I hope this is temporary :o
