Hi,

Me again, this time it's about videos. When I choose a video to play it just displays a bad picture (really pixelized picture) that looks like de movie cover, don't know where it finds it though but it sure doesn't play the movie.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

There aren't any Marantz profiles. However, you could try manually assigning the "Denon AVR" profile.

Here is the DLNA certificate for your device:
http://certification.dlna.org/certs/REG41170725.pdf

According to the certificate it looks like it only supports audio (LPCM, MP3 and WMA) not video, so the Denon profile hopefully should work but only for audio.

Note to zip (if you see this):
Denon and Marantz brands are owned by D&M Holdings, so possibly the Denon profile should be modified to detect Marantz receivers also? Both Denon and Marantz models are listed under D&M Holdings on http://certification.dlna.org/.

EDIT: Here is a thread showing how to discover what formats your device supports.

Thanks for the info. May I expect any change to this certificate any day in the future ? Or will it stay like this forever ? Considering I have software updates on regular basis on the receiver.

I don't know anything about Marantz or the DLNA certification process, but I would guess that such a product would get certified once.
