Samsung PS50B650 not recognised by Serviio

I have a Samsung PS50B650 currently running Tversity - and having issue with basic .avs not being able to play on TV - have installed Serviio - but Serviio
is not even being recognised as an available server - have tried all available settings in Serio - any hints ???

enter the IP address your server is on to the Bound IP address box in the UI

Thanks Zip but not being a Geek/Savy please explain in more detail what all that jagon means please
ie. "Server" - "IP address" - "Bound IP" - "UI" [/Quote]

Each network card in your PC has given IP arddress which identifies it on the network (format is like 123.123.123.123). Serviio tries to guess what card is used to connect to the player device, and if you have more (e.g. wi-fi and cable) it might be the wrong one.

So try to enter the IP address of the card you use to connect to your home network and enter it into Bound IP address field in Serviio console.

List of your IP addresses can be obtained by executing:

  Code:
cmd.exe


and then in the cmd window type:

  Code:
ipconfig


It'll list the network adapters, find the one that is used and get its IPv4 value.
