Roku Media Player Episode Description

I have my TV series set up as follows: Folder with Name of Series\Season of Series\Episode (Episode Number with episode name). i.e. Show Name\Season 01\01 - Episode Name. I am using the option under Presentation to Display Content Only for Video and Folders, everything else is disabled.

When I go to open a video on any of my Roku devices, there is a description on the right side of the episode of what should be the video. However, on several videos, the description is highly inaccurate and quite often contains adult content in the description despite the video being nothing of the sort. For example, an episode of Dragon ball Z, which is a teenager show, would have an adult video description associated with it.

How do I go about removing these descriptions from the videos? I've tried using no descriptive metadata and changing the Roku profile (neither of which erases what is there). I am using 3 different Roku devices, all different generations, but all are having this issue.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I think someone else had an issue with that particular series before, I think. When I have issues with metadata not matching a specific episode, but most are correct, I usually find I have mislabeled the episode with a number that is outside the actual number of episodes. Go to https://www.themoviedb.org/ and look up that series, then check the season to see if the episode number you're using is accurate.

I didn't quite understand your folder layout. I only have a single folder for an entire series. I don't have subfolders for seasons. If for some reason the entire series isn't getting the correct metadata, I'll first add the year to the folder name, and if there's still a problem I'll add the IMDB tag number. Just note that IMDB will have a different tag number for the series, the season and each episode, so only use the series tag number.
