Limit Transcoding hard disk space

I don´t how if its already possible. If it is please say how do it. If not exist today, maybe could be good a user can choose how much space of the hard disk can be use to transcode a file.

Thanks for a answer Zip, i understand what u said. Let it tell me exactly my probem.

I let the transcoding file set up in my main disk and when i saw its was using almost 10gb of space with 3 files. I let servioo playing 24hours i don´t know how Works this transcoding file but maybe at least i dont care transcoding each time i start a file (transcoding this file), but the two others in my case could be erase it. So like have 3
files transcoding on it so erase the older one. I don´t know if can be done something about it . just trying to let what is good, better.

restarting serviio services will clear out any transcoded temp files, if your seeing a buildup of them maybe try setting up a regular service restart to keep the excess temp files down to a min?

Files should be removed once you start playing another transcoded file.

Do you use Serviio with multiple devices?

I used to watch only in a place. The program is installed in a computer that i let 24 hours on, Servioo is on background on it.

The conexion between the Tv and Pc(with servioo) is cabled. I have a wifi on on it. Well i am looking very carefull this days about the temp drive
i think if is limit on 3 files (never saw more than that). That is my actually use it:

Looks like it not restarting Always i used id. I don´t know. Anyway i manage some space and this space wasted is not a big problem. I have some problems of speed on some files (i change to cabble liltle time ago) but i was certaly that is not my cable the problem. I solved (for while at least) freeing some space and changing two thinks. Disabled metadata and i update the ffdshow file.

I update ffmpeg.exe file changing in lib folder (make a copy just in case not working) anyway looks like fine to me.
