API call to clear transcoded media (stf files)
Posted: Mon Jan 28, 2013 10:06 pmWindows user here: It would be really handy if there were an API call at hand with which the transcoded media files could be manually wiped - or that serviio releases the file lock after transcoding is done and the file is not being streamed.
After a few days, the temporary folder with all the stf-files grows incredibly big.
I already tried restarting the serviio-service every night but for some reason, it takes too long (~2 minutes) to shut down serviio, thus triggering an ugly error.
