Can Metadata Be Scaled?
Posted: Sat Jan 12, 2013 8:42 pmI like to photograph animals, insects, and plants and identify what I photograph. I then store the pictures for future reference. I rename the files to reflect the identification. I.e. Black-Bellied Whistling-Duck. I would like to see these file names as I view the pictures on my Samsung Smart TV. However, the display field for the file name, when pressing the INFO button on my TV remote, only allows 15 characters of the file name to display. Black-Bellied Whistling-Duck becomes Black-Bellied Wh...
Would it be possible that scaling the metadata down would allow the complete name to display for files with longer names? If so, is this an option that could be added to a future release? It would be nice to see a complete name with at least 30 characters.
