One solution would be to bridge the two LANs via VPN. I tried to get it going for myself but I had trouble to get the SSDP broadcasts routed correctly.

Maybe here some smart serviio user who can make app for a samsung smart tv? Or maybe just a edit a bit android app sutable to samsung smart vt? I would like to do it by myself but i am not familiar with this app stuff at all.

In that link what i gived are the installation program and emulators to create a app. I hope its not a big job to edit androd app suitable for tv but, yeah... actually i dont know about that. Maybe some app creator can reply here and say how difficult it is to create?

Just had a look, they are basically web apps written in HTML and Javascript, so no where near an Android app* so it would be a complete re-write from the groud up.
*Some Android apps are web apps packaged to look like native apps but are generally rubish with poor performance and limited intergration with OS functionallity and UI.

Will i see that you wery smart about that app stuff. What you think, how difficult to create app for a samsung tv-s? In samsung site is special soft with virtual tv & visual editor for creating a app for samsung tv-s. You like can test it in live without owning samsung tv. I readed from plex forum that they working on it and they want to relase the own app. I like serviio more and i would like to get a serviio app for tv. Looks those tv-app-s are future. At least with that plex app working server ower internet. With serviio its not working. One idea to create app for a remote access if ports are forwared. Then maybe more people start to buy a pro edition of serviio. (also included me, i have no point for a remote at the moment) Ofcorse those people who like serviio. The main issue why i so desprently want that app is that i hope i can runn serviio finally ower internet. Then i dont have to hold pc on allways. Maybe i can use also one server with friend. We all upload movies to one server and all we can watch the same movies. Just turn on tv, runn the app and wola! If its not much asked then maybe can you have a look and check that samsung softvare for app creating? Please

I dont have no idea how to create a app
Program called SDK 3.5.2 and SDK 4.0 Beta

So from a central serviio server you want to browse and play content to a device ? If you ignore browsing via the tv (which would seem the easy option) then have you tried skifta ? Its a browse / push app to any networks you make available and join.

I tryed now to browse from a tv internet browser a serviio mediabrowser... It cant find it. I think tv dont like 192.168.1.68:23424/mediabrowser/. I mean it not like a numbers. At least i think so. From other pc i can find over network media browser. I tryed also for a short time skifta... I didnt found any solution to connect server to tv over internet. There only different options for a mobile phone. I found 3 options from there. See attached picture...
What i want to get?
My TV >>>>> My router >>>>> INTERNET <<<<< Workplace router <<<<< Serviio Server

Those pictures don't explain everything Skifta can do, they are just easy basic guides. Anyway, you want to play media from Serviio at work over the internet.
What tv have you got ?
How fast is your works upload and your download ?
Does your work have a fixed ip or dyndns name ?
Have you opened up port 23424 on your works firewall ?

I was expecting picture like from local network over dlna. There was no fullscreen option. ( maybe i dont know and it is exist) Picture quality was wery bad. And something wrong with connection i think. Movie didnt runn normaly. It was like downloading (buffering maybe) a bit and then played a fiew seconds and then again the same.... For mobile phone that is maybe good enought. But not for tv.

. I dont think that something wrong with my connection.
I found one article from swedish forum and this is in english. This is it what i am looking for but its not so easy to made it

There is Fullscreen button, move the mouse over the player.
The speed mostly depends on the source and it's uplink speed. These are normally quite low for home broadband and you might struggle to stream a full quality movies. You can change the quality on the source Serviio's console.

As Zip says, hit the full screen button. Quality issues are transcoding to flash because you want to browse via a web browser. As per the article you mention, if your broadband is fast enought then set a connection between the networks so your tv can just browse and play media directly rather than transcode to flash.
Serviio can do what you want as can any media server, your issues is how you join up your networks. Does your work network server support VPN ? Can you setup a connection to that via your router or PC that can feed your tv ?

Ok, i found that button and i got the full screen. I tryed it again and its still too slow. Seems its like downloading the movie and then trying to play it

Then i tryed with the same settings thrue android and that works well. I think its a some tv browser issue or something like that. I dont belive that issue with my internet connection at home. I have here ip tv and everything works well. Server upload is 40 up and i belive that must be enought. At home i have download only 12. I sended link to my friend who have better connection 100 down and hi teld me that movie also like cutting. Not playing smoothly. Hi was thinking that this is a some flash player issue. Also in the right top coner are watermark.

Here what i tryed some time ago....
