Screen Always On (Android Client)

I would like to see on the Serviio Android app the ability to keep the screen on while playing Audio - this may be the app or an Android-specific thing, I don't know. I like to listen to my music at work from time to time and it would be nice to simply look down to see the current song title with its associated album along with the controls - rather than after the default device timeout having to turn on the device, unlock the screen, wait the second and then change the track. I know there are lockscreen controls, but those do no good if the screen turns off. I'd rather not change my device's timeout to conform to one app.

Serviio Android app
What app are you referring too? Serviio is a Windows/Linux app.
Re: Screen Always On (Android Client)
He means ServiiGo.
Okay, I'll look at adding that to the next version as something to keep screen on when music is playing and downloading. Would it be better suited as something in the settings, or something easier to access so that in can be toggled on and off.

Yes, sorry, ServiiGo ...
I'm not sure if you were asking specifically, but Settings sounds fine - that is usually where I would expect to see it. Though a toggle sounds good too!
Whatever's easiest to code or what other people feel is better - the feature in and of itself is my specific interest
Thank you for the quick response!

Re: Screen Always On (Android Client)
I'll put it in the settings then, it has no effect on the implementation.
Right now i'm working on ServiiDroid, and have quite a few changes for the next version of ServiiGo, so expect it there sometime this month, maybe sooner.
