Subtitle folder

I couldn't find a topic on this, so I'll create a new one.

I'd love to see an option to have a general subtitle folder. One that is taken as the default subtitle folder, but will be overrided by subs located in movie folders.

This would save me an assload of time extracting subtitles from all my MKVs, which I need to do in order to stream those to my Panasonic DMP-BD75 Blu-ray Player. I really do need those subtitles as my folks can't really understand movies well enough without them. (I'm from the Netherlands, you see)

Are there any thoughts on this as a feature? Thanks in advance for checking this topic out. :D

There is an open ticket to support subs embedded in MKV. My plan is to convert them on-the-fly to srt and serve them as external subs for devices that support it.

Awesome. :D Is there a planned release or something for this, then?

If not I guess I can just export SRTs for some movies of course. :)
