Re: ServiioApp

I assume it is the same as having a dedicated Netflix or YouTube app. This is almost certainly beond the scope of serviio, excluding the significant development work, which would be device independent, it would have to go through samsumgs official approval processes before being available.

Re: ServiioApp

Sure,
Plex is a Media Server like Serviio.
The client of samsung smart tv or internt@tv is ugly, it only displays the poster and there is no information about selected movies.

Re: ServiioApp

I actuallly like the Plex app for the Samsung TVs except it's really irritating trying to navigate to a movie since it doesn't seem there is a way to jump directly to a certain letter or number. I gave up with it and just use the internal Samsung videos app. Too bad Samsung won't work a bit on the presentation - I specially hate the way the cover art is stretched horizontally when the entire industry using the poster format (height greater then width).

Re: ServiioApp

Samsung does have developer tools for developing apps for their TV's. http://developer.samsung.com/dtv.

You will need to find someone to make the app for you.

Re: ServiioApp

I would absolutely love to see this app!
The Samsung default video app is horrible. I'd love to see an app that uses serviio to its full potential!
