I downloaded last version of serviio so I would like to know when playlist will be available. Also in which way playlist will work? For example creating a pls that have been processed by the player? In other word sho is responsible to play the songs of the playlist one after the other. DLNA has defined a specific? Thanks in advance

Playlists are being tested at the moment as part of the 1.0 beta testing.

They are processed by the server so will appear to the device as just a 'normal' folder e.g. Audio -> Playlists -> My Playlist will be a folder containing all of the tracks from the playlist 'My Playlist'

Thank you for the answer. In other word I have only a collection of a songs everyone with his relative url, that forms a single playlist and not a file .m3u.
Having only a collection of songs in which ways I can tell a standard DLNA media renderer to play all the songs of the playlist? For what I see there isn't a way defined by the standard, but with a media controller I have to monitor when a song finish to put in the command for another song of the playlist. I said something wrong? Is there another way?

Thanks G.

Well it is up the device to choose to start playing the next song/video. Which device do you have? I was trying to say that if you press play in a folder at the moment and your device automatically plays the next file, then it will work just the same with playlists.
