Genres Listings

It seems to me the Genres listings, are using only the first genre listed on the TMDB.

As the TMDB doesn't maintain they're Genre list in an alphabetical order I find the current Genres Menu Listing uses less.
Each movie is only listed once so you end up with things like
Godfather and Godfather II under Action
Godfather III under Drama

Rather than finding them all under the Crime Genre which shows none.

Another example Would be the Shrek movies
Shrek under Animation
Shrek 2, Shrek the Third, Shrek Forever After under Adventure

I would like to see the Genres list the same movie multiple times. Once for each Genre it belongs to.

Right now the movies are only being listed once under the Genre of the first genre listed for the movie at TMDB

Not Really. The Actors Directors and Producers menus are already like this.

This feature request (multiple genre support per item) has been open for years now. Is it fair to conclude that it will never be implemented? Is there any way in which another developer (like myself) could implement this or for that matter, other extensions to serviio functionality?

Currently there are more pressing issues, it will be implemented once I give it a higher priority or it gets a lot of votes on bitbucket.
