Display PDF files.

Hi,

I often view PDF files on my TV. Surprisingly it is a nice read depending on the PDF file. Obviously I don't read books on TV but certain magazines.

For that I usually convert the PDF to jpg files and add the folder to Serviio. I would like to directly add PDF files to Serviio and Serviio does the "Transcoding to JPG" on the fly.

Is this possible?

Serviio is based on ffmpeg encoder, but ffmpeg seems not support "pdf" format :
"ffmpeg.exe -format" for listing

Surely one could add a tool that could do it. I bet there are many Java libs that can extract JPGs from PDFs.

maybe this can be done with a plugin? Maybe something like live streaming the desktop?
