Native support for playing archives (.rar/.zip)

I know this sounds controversial, but even though this archive is a standard for "scene rules"-packaging of warez, .rar archives can be used for what it was intended as well, archiving. I have a lot of my family movies and photos compressed in these archives and it would be lovely to be able to play them through serviio.
Also, alot of none "pirated" movies are packed in various types of archives, .zip and .rar. Like alot of game-cast is distributed as rars.
Pros:
Serviio will truly play all your content natively. If it's on your computer, serviio will do the job as the easiest dlna server in the world.
Cons:
Serviio will play pirated movies without having to unarchive them.
The argument of .rar is only used by pirates seems kind of naive. I could say the same about xvid, matroska container and so on.
So what do you guys think?
