streaming digital audio direct from an A/D converter in RT?
Could one stream digital audio directly, in real time, through serviio, from a USB-attached sound card??
I realised it would be neat to have a bunch of small-to-tiny hosts running DLNA servers, and streaming audio and/or low frequency measurement data to DLNA-enabled presentation devices, all over 100Mb/s or Gb/s TCP/IP.
So, is serviio efficient enough for this, and would it be easy to make serviio pick up a digital audio stream on the server host and forward it unadulterated to DLNA renderers?
