Hi,
Excellent product, great work!

Is it possible for Serviio to recognise the movie covers other than Movie.jpg and Cover.jpg ? I have tried the following combinations and they dont work:

Unforgiven_cover.jpg -> doesnt work
Unforgiven_movie.jpg -> doesnt work
movie_Unforgiven.jpg -> doesnt work
cover_Unforgiven.jpg -> doesnt work
Unforgiven.jpg -> doesnt work

movie.jpg = works
cover.jpg = works

Is it possible for the serviio to recognise the word 'cover' or 'movie' in the name so that the filename can be more descriptive? File name organisation could be much better and easier than having so many files called 'movie' or 'cover' and not knowing what movie it belongs to?

Even better just name the 'JPG' the same as the movie?

so My movie folder example would be:
folder name is 'Unforgiven'
movie avi is 'Unforgiven.avi' therefore
movie cover is 'movie-Unforgiven.jpg' or 'cover-Unforgiven.jpg' or just SIMPLY 'Unforgiven.jpg' - Is this possible ?

Thank you for your time
Morci

http://www.serviio.org/index.php?option ... icle&id=12

It says: dvdcover.jpg, movie.jpg, name including "poster".jpg, {media_file_name}.jpg

I haven't tried it recently but it use to work ;-)

Hi,

Yes you are right - my mistake. I tried the same picture name as the movie name and it works.

A quick question?
Is it possible to change the folder icons shown in the TV? In my SAMSUNG TV it shows just the folder in 'Blue' Colour - I would like to change it to a more pleasing folder icon that shows that its a movie folder, the same would apply to all other folder icons, like music, etc - Is this possible or its restricted by SAMSUNG?

Thank you and keep up the great work
Manuel

No, it's not possible unless you hack the TV ;-)
