I have a server set-up for the family to watch Movies ,would like a password protected area for adult videos
rate R and above also same for the the little ones to have there own section.
caught the 8 year old niece watching a horror Movie with nude scenes.

Passwords won't work as there is no way to transfer the password from the TV to the Serviio server in DLNA.

so how to write script to the console to allow and or not allow ip address's to this file
like drop down menu to add local and or vpn address

Not sure I understand, but would it be fixed by assigning fixed IP addresses to devices (so that the Device IP doesn't change).
