Good day,

Would it be possible to set a PIN code on certain folders?
This to protect photo's and videos within a company or family.

Yes, it's possible. You can make the folder private, clicking on Properties and choosing password.
Or set a password to a zipped folder. It's easier.
I think that you can google the answer :geek:

I think the OP means folders/shares within Serviio, not on your PC ;)

No it's not possible. Serviio is a DLNA Media Server and the DLNA standard doesn't allow for the passing of a password/PIN from client (tv) to server (Serviio). So even if Serviio supported it, your TV wouldn't.

It may be possible to add this capability to the MediaBrowser app (as that doesn't use DLNA).

Serviio does allow for restricted access to particular devices - see http://www.serviio.org/component/conten ... tion-rules
