) to incorporate mp4 support into serviio?

If you mean video container (and/or video codec), it's already there.

Silly me. I did see that MP4's are indeed seen by your program. But, I cannot see them as source material on my uPnP player. It sees MP3s, all JPGs, JPEGs and also VOB files, but none of the MP4s show up. I can play them on my server so all the codecs for ffmpeg are present. What am I missing?

WHat is your player? Apparently it doesn't support mp4 natively, 0.4 will hopefully sort it for you via transcoding.

So according to
http://watershade.net/wmcclain/BDP-83-f ... containers the player doesn't support MP4. Transcoding should sort it out for you.

Good afternoon, I am having trouble playing certain youtube downloads (mp4) through Serviio from my computer on my Samsung BluRay Home theatre set. With all kinds of files it works just fine but not with these mp4's. What is the reason and how can I get it work?
