Yes I fully agree, I see a lot of opus audio along with x265.., that is really a shame because it's being used all over the place.. To my knowledge opus is supported by ffmpeg, so it shouldn't be too difficult to add it.. Really waiting for it ! Thanks and keep up the wonderful work.

Please, please, please add opus support. It is the new standard for High Efficiency Audio Coding (surround) and comes often together with new x265 coded videos.

Edit: ffmpeg already support it, I copied the latest static binary into the serviio/lib/ folder and tried some additions in profiles.xml but with no luck

create a ticket on bitbucket and add there some examples of ffmpeg -i for the files.

I saw the ticket on bitbucket was marked as resolved in July. It seems, current serviio still doesn't support Opus. I see it was released prior to the bug being marked as resolved. Do you have a public beta of the next version, just to test it?

It should be done as a part of 1.10.
