Improve quality of thumbnails

I am using Serviio on the new Media Player on PS4. I am using the PS3 profile. Serviio runs greats, but the thumbnails generated for videos are extremely poor in quality. They are very pixelated that I can barely see any details. On the other hand, thumbnails generated by Windows Media Server are much higher in quality. However, Serviio is definitely much faster, so I prefer to use it.

Would appreciate it if the devs added an update that improves the quality of the thumbnails or if there is a way to modify this I'd be interested in knowing about it.

Thanks :)

There is already a ticket to do so.

I have noticed that the quality of the thumbnails improved significantly on my PS4! Although I appreciate that, I am wondering how did that happen? Was there a recent auto-update to Serviio?

The only thing that may have changed on my end is that I switched to the Xbox One profile. Noticed it plays videos with fewer issues.

The XBox One profile has HD thumbnails enabled (they are not super HD, but 2x the res than the DLNA ones).
