Great product, thanks.

I run Serviio on a Windows 7 machine that is set to go to sleep after 20 minutes. It would be nice if when Serviio is actually streaming a file if it would disable sleeping until streaming stops. Similar to what BitTorrent does when it is downloading or uploading files.

Thanks

I'm with you I like to shut my laptop lid and put my computer down. I've change the settings so the computer stays on when the lid is closed, but I don't like having to set my computer to never sleep and when I set it to sleep in 3 hours, if I start a second movie after the first one ends the computer cuts Serviio off and goes to sleep halfway threw that movie. I don't know if its possible though? It looks like its fairly easy for programmers set windows to not sleep when a program is running https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa373208(v=vs.85).aspx, but Serviio runs constantly, so you miles as well just set you pc to never sleep, unless you disable Serviio from starting as a service, and then put a shortcut to serviio.bat on your desk top so you can click and run it that way.

Until it is supported natively in Serviio (if ever, Serviio development has to deal with multiple platforms/OS's which isn't an easy task) you may want to try my WinHelper tool: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=12136.
