Remote Console Unification
I've now had the pleasure of configuring remote Console configuration on two Linux Distros and two OSs; Mint, Debian, and OS X respectively; in that order, even.
My frustration stems from the different requirements of the different OSs. The Linux experiences were so simple (vi /path/to/serviio-console.sh and add a value, right?), and the OS X so frustrating (extract files, first launch serviio.app, wait until everything is happy there, THEN launch serviio-console.app, ONLY then modify the serviio-console.app/Info.plist file AFTER disabling Gatekeeper -- apologies if it was simpler for anyone else, it wasn't for me)...
I know the drill, such heterogeneity, so few developers, I feel your pain, but wouldn't adding the remote IP option to the UI solve a lot of these problems?
So yeah, in brief: Adding a remote IP option to the Console UI. Thanks!
