Update overwrites existing files

Each time I update Serviio I have to manually update the ServiioService.exe file with the settings for WDTVLIve. I have tried creating backup files but the next update appears to completely overwrite the bin directory contents. Surely a check for user changes and a prompt is not difficult?

which settings? if you mean profiles.xml, it'll create a backup file which you can get your profile from.
