Samsung tv + Subtitle / Audio language selection.

What the header said.

I understand that this might be impossible due to the limitations of the Samsung firmware.

I have D-Series tv (Samsung LE40D585K2KXXE), and I have not found any way to change either subtitle or the audio track.

Ofcourse there could be this setting in the serviio gui (Preferred languages), but how does it know the language of audio / subtitle in all cases.. I think there is no way.

It may be inpossible feature to add, just wanted to mention this, since it is bugging me

Serviio only displays the sub whose title matches the video title, and only plays the first audio track. Use MKvmerge to remux mkv filesa nd remove all but the audio track you want.

I cannot choose a another Language of a MKV-3D-Film thru DLNA-Serviio-Server.

What I dont understand, is that the same MKV-3D-Film on a HDD direkt connectet to the TV via USB (NO DLNA), its possible to change the Language of the Film thru the Tools-Button on the Remote-Control of the Samsung TV.

Why shows the Tools-Button with DLNA no other Language to chose?
Samsung-Problem?
Serviio-DLNA-Problem?

It's a problem TV via USB it works over DLNA but not anymore. The new range of Samsung TV it's resolved. UE55ES6570 works switching audio tracks and subtitle selection from MKV to 100%.

Je to problém TV, přes USB to funguje ale přes DLNA už ne. Na nové řadě Samsung TV už je to vyřešeno. UE55ES6570 funguje přepínání zvukových stop a výběr titulků z MKV na 100%.

I can confirm that out of the same mkv & serviio version, on a "ES" Samsung I'm able to change audio & subs tracks, why on a "D" one I can't
