DLNA protocol limit or feature missing?
Hello everybody, this is my first post in the serviio forum, I've found serviio as DLNA server after googling a lot, and I've found it's the best free DLNA server to work together with a Samsung client (C series). I apologize in advance if the topic I'm writing about has already been answered in other posts, but in a pair of hours of navigation in the serviio documentation and in the forums I've not seen nothing that answered my question, so here it is:
I've seen that serviio is not able to let my samsung client know that a file (avi or mkv) has more than an audio track, multiple external subtitles track (avi) or one or more internal mkv subtitle track.
Anyone can tell me if this is a DLNA protocol limitation or a serviio limitation? In the second case I'd like to contribute the project helping to implement those features
I'm quite sure it's not a TV limitation since if I connect media through USB I can switch between different subtitiles/audio track on every file format supported by the TV (mkv included)!
