There is a tested way of making AceStream work for Serviio found here -
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14751#p84522but it seems this method got broken with v1.4...

This statement is incorrect. The method works as described with 1.4. I am streaming viasat basketball right now. Be sure to use 8902/tv.asf

I have Acestream working beautifully with Serviio
What I do find however is that the IP4 address for my PC often changes when I reboot the computer - this will then involve editing the IP address used in the Acestream 'source' in the online library so it matches the newly allocated IP address.
Then refresh the stream and flawless HD streaming to my tele.
Thank you Serviio!!

I also had this issue with 1.4 I had to revert back to 1.3. I tried all my usual trouble shooting and nothing could get the stream to appear (restarting the service, re-checking the url and got the green check, refreshed library, nothing worked.). I reinstalled 1.3 and it popped right up.
