Serviio

Hi there installed and running serviio on my freebsd nas,but though it's running i can't connect ot hte wbinterface on other machine.
I am trying to reach it by nasip:23423 but not possibl for me.
Is there anyone who can help me with this?

You must install a web server and the unofficial web UI.

You could always remotely connect the Windows console or download the apps in my signature for your smartphone

Hi thanks for taking the time to answer me.
Got serviio installed on my server running zfsguru running on freebsd,installed the zip file on diffwerent places in the serviio directory but no luck of starting the webgui.
Php and apche running ass well on the server.
Don't know how to go on from here,maybe you could give advice?
Can't buy the app for android cause don't have cc.

You can install Serviio on your Desktop/laptop (if windows, select just the console during installation) and then point it at your server http://www.serviio.org/component/conten ... e?id=21#q2

Allright did that again but in wich file do have to add or change something so i can refer it to the ip of my server??

Theres three ways to upload the licence (its a .lic file when you buy the Pro licenc)

1: Remote access with windows console
You would simple have to download the new Windows Serviio v1.3.1 from http://www.serviio.org/download
Only install the console, then edit C:\Program Files\Serviio\bin\ServiioConsole.exe.vmoptions with a text editor by adding:
Replacing XXX.XXX.X.XXX with the IP Address your Serviio server

2: Use your Android phone
Use ServiiDroid for Android which is v1.3.1 compatible - https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... erviidroid

3: Install the unofficial web ui

I have a problem with the console .
I have the WebGui my NAS ( DS213 +) tries .
Since I can but unfortunately not create new paths.
Then I tried the Android app . But the work is not particularly comfortable.
Therefore was to use the Console for windows my last hope .
