Serviio

I'm new to serviio.

I have Serviio installed on my desktop PC (Windows XP SP3). The console is set to use "Online metadata sources" and the LG TV profile. But, while the posters show OK on the ST600 "Smart Share" application, there is no descriptive text - when I click on the poster, the movie begins to play.

Is this normal for the ST600? Or is there a better choice for metadata that would display the descriptions on the ST600?

from what im reading the st600 doesnt support descriptive metadata so no theres nothing that can be done.

The ST600 supports sharing via 3 basic methods:

- DLNA (serviio)
- Network Shares (CIFS)
- Media Link (A special front end for Plex another media server)

You can only get additional metadata displayed on the ST600 if you use the Media Link app and Plex as your server.
